
Hamburg, 22 September 2025: Hintco has announced a series of updates across its H2Global tenders that will increase funding, extend timelines, and open new opportunities for RFNBO projects worldwide. These include more flexibility and funding for the Global Lot and Regional Lots, advancements in the auction process, as well as a reopening of the Methanol Pilot Auction lot.

Hamburg, 04 July, 2025 – Hintco has entered the Application Phase for the regional lots of its 2025 competitive auction for renewable hydrogen and its derivatives (RFNBOs).

April 2, 2025, Hamburg: Hintco is pleased to announce a series of hybrid and virtual roadshow events in key global regions. Ahead of its second tender under the H2Global mechanism, the roadshow will engage directly with producers of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives (RFNBOs) in order to reaffirm Hintco's commitment to a transparent and competitive process.

April 2, 2025, Brussels: Hintco has been named a second prize winner in the prestigious European Innovation Procurement Awards 2025, recognising its pioneering role in accelerating the market for renewable hydrogen through the H2Global mechanism.

February 19 2025, Hamburg: Hintco is announcing today the start of the second H2Global tender, following the successful state aid notification for the scheme by the EU Commission a few weeks ago.

13 January 2025, Hintco is happy to announce that Germany’s BMWK has officially committed up to EUR 588 million for the two bilateral H2Global tenders with Canada and Australia. This follows previous declarations of intent signed in 2024 by Germany, Canada and Australia.

18 December 2024, Hintco is pleased to announce the official notification under EU State aid rules of the second round of H2Global auctions with a budget of up to EUR 3 billion.

Hintco GmbH announces that it has formally signed a contract with Fertiglobe, the successful bidder in the first H2Global pilot auction for renewable ammonia. This landmark agreement marks a significant advancement in Europe’s renewable energy future, setting a precedent for future auctions under the H2Global framework.
